- as is custom, they fought to establish dominance. gorou is the only one who remains "living"
- his siblings still exist in non-physical form, mostly in the mountains where he lives in a rickety old house + shrine
- lots of snarled red/orange hair, 6'4", swimmer's build
- smells like soil and trees... tends to have mud, somewhere. wears souvenir shirts his friends give him as jokes
